OUR PRINCIPLES

Our goal is to place Tennessee in a national leadership role to promote and capitalize on the clean economy.
Some of the principles that support our goal are:

·    A strong national defense free of dependence on foreign oil,

·    A robust and viable workforce, ready to meet the needs of the clean energy economy,

·    Standards for the production of renewable energy and energy efficiency,

·    National limits or a price on carbon pollution,

·    Providing Tennessee's rural communities and agricultural producers with significant new market opportunities.

As a business leader, it is not necessary to sign on to all principles above.

We are hopeful that you can agree on the overall goal of placing Tennessee in a leadership role nationally to promote and capitalize on the clean economy.  

We are an informal network of businesses sharing information on the clean energy economy, identifying policies that support our industry and increasing awareness of this sector of our economy and the benefits it brings to Tennesseans.

We frequently identify opportunities for you to share your voices for a clean energy economy in the media, with our Senators and Congressmen and network with other community leaders.
